Problems with Netfirms and Blogger

I doubt this entry will post because on my main blog I have been having persistent problems where the postings don't manage to make it from blogger to netfirms. The error I get is "broken pipe". There is no support from the Blogger folks except for a cryptic set of instructions to bother my ISP. The Netfirms sent me the help item for it when I asked them to look into it so I have just been going around in circles. Since it broke recently I am wondering if the problem is the size of the index or the XML feed. Maybe I need to trim some entries?

Patience pays off with netfirms

Netfirms decided to magnanimously increase disk storage space from 1 Gig to 2 Gig for the $10/month plan. This is a great solution for me because I have been posting photos for the past few months (since October) and already have taken over 250Meg. So at the rate I was at I would have filled my quota within a year. With the new quota I now have breathing room for another year and my guess is that the disk quota can only increase in those next 12 months... and even if it doesn't then within 2 years the world will have changed enough that I won't care what the Netfirms policy is on disk space.
